Floyd Auto FAIR at Chantilly Farm in Floyd Virginia August 15,16 & 17 2014

The weather was just great - 250 or more curize-in cars for the show and several hundred parts vendors. Good food and the Country Store annex at Chantilly Farm was busy serving the " Chantilly Farm Meat Ball Sub" .

Armored Field Battle in full dress by "Barony of Black Diamond" at Chantilly Farm , Floyd Virginia

A really interesting event the 4th of July Weekend at Chantilly Farm in Floyd Virginia. The "Society for Creative Anachornism" (SCA) had a full weekend of events at Chantilly Farm in Floyd Virginia.

And how was your weekend ??

The SCA from Wikipedia =  The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international living history group with the aim of studying and recreating mainly Medieval European cultures and their histories before the 17th century.  For more information take a look at the Wikipedia listing.

This was a beautiful weekend here in Floyd Virginia. We had 30 or so of our family here for the weekend. No armored battles but some nice kayaking on the Little River and lots of good food.
