Russell Moore is the International Bluegrass Music Association’s most awarded male vocalist and IIIrd Tyme Out has received the prestigious IBMA Vocal Group of the Year award seven consecutive times! Since forming in 1991, this talented group of musicians have become known around the world for their first-class Bluegrass sound and have garnered over 50 major industry awards.  Bluegrass doesn’t get any better than this and we couldn’t  be more excited to have Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out headline this year’s performances on the main stage here at Chantilly Farm!

THE BOXCARS… Chantilly is proud to welcome one of the hottest Bluegrass super-groups on the road
today, The Boxcars! Band members Adam Steffey and John Bowman, both former members of Alison Krauss and Union Station, have joined forces with Ron Stewart, Keith Garrett and Harold Nixon to form one of the most talented and experienced bands anywhere! The Boxcars have been nominated for a Grammy and are three time winners of the coveted IBMA Instrumental Group of the Year award!

JEFF BROWN & STILL LONESOME… Fresh off the heels of a successful debut album Blue Side of Me, newcomers Jeff Brown and Still Lonesome will give you a show you won’t soon forget.  Brown has
played with Bluegrass icons such as Larry Sparks, Ralph Stanley, Blue Highway and the Charlie Sizemore band.  And now Brown has teamed up with Josh Underwood, Josh Blankenship, Meredith Goins, and Austin Brown to form a group that Bluegrass fans will likely talk about for years to come! Underwood and Blankenship are both Floyd County natives!

MARY JO AND CHARLIE SHOW with special guests BERNIE COVENEY, TOMMY MORSE AND RON PENDLETON…Be on the lookout for a very special performance as they play 'The Chantilly Shuffle', a fire-powered theme song for the festival, written by Bernie Coveney of Floyd. Mary Jo and
Charlie Leet have been performing and recording acoustic music for more than two decades, both here in the United States and internationally. Bluegrass fans will recognize Mary Jo and Charlie from their long stint as the rhythm core of Dry Branch Fire Squad and their many recordings with Rounder Records. Joining the Mary Jo & Charlie Show will be super-musicians Ron Pendleton, Tommy Morse and Bernie Coveney. Both Ron and Tommy hail from nearby Patrick County, VA and learned their craft from some of the masters of bluegrass and mountain music. Coveney spent years as a professional musician performing alongside notable musicians such as Peter Rowan, Jerry Jeff Walker, Mike Seeger and Emmylou Harris.
